Speaker of the House not Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen said on Thursday, February 8, that the House feels the pains of the Nigerian people and stands with them in their cry for a better living standard
Speaking at a global press conference in Abuja, the speaker declared that the House would not overlook the growing number of insecurity cases in the nation and that it would exert all of its efforts to support the government in creating living conditions that are favorable for the Nigerian people.
He emphasized that despite the difficulties, Nigeria’s resiliency and unity have persisted. He said that current events are testing the fabric of Nigerian society.

He emphasized that the House will provide the government with all necessary support, saying that the Nigerian Air Force’s recent acquisition of two attack helicopters demonstrated the government’s resolve to confront the nation’s security issues.
He said the proposed security summit by the House is aimed at bringing together experts to brainstorm on possible ways of addressing the rising security challenges in the country.
