The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has called President Bola Tinubu to wake up because Nigerians are in pain due to the current economic hardship.

He urged Tinubu to create markets across Nigeria where foods are sold at a subsidized rate to alleviate the pain of Nigerians.

Speaking in Lagos yesterday, the clergyman urged the president to set up a committee for such a purpose.

Ayodele said, ‘’President Tinubu should wake up, there is hardship, people are in pain, and in order to checkmate these palliatives, the government should have markets across the country where food items would be subsidized for citizens.

“A committee that will be accountable should also be created to this effect. We told them everything that was happening regarding the economy today, and they should have prepared ahead, but they didn’t take it seriously.

“If the government doesn’t do the right thing, the flour will cost, and that’s why I will be commissioning a bakery, and health care centre in a few days to assist the government.’’
