Film addicts are in for an exciting time as Africa Magic announced plan to premiere over 300 films across Africa Magic Showcase, Urban, and Indigenous channels in March.Â
Dr. Busola Tejumola, Multichoice’s Head of Content and Channels, West Africa, shared this news in a statement on Thursday. She emphasized Africa Magic’s dedication to providing non-stop entertainment to its audience. She announced that throughout March, viewers can expect new movies to grace the screens of selected Africa Magic channels every day.
Tejumola highlighted that these movies will cover a wide range of genres, from comedy to romance, thriller to family dramas, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
“Entertainment has the power to bring people together and inspire positive change. With our commitment to quality content and innovation, we are excited to redefine African entertainment.
“We have carefully curated a selection of 155 films that reflect the dynamism of our continent, offering viewers an array of diverse narratives that showcase the beauty of African culture, society, and identity.

“March Madness will see a mix of diverse films, including Kiisi, Eri Ife, Ekun Mefa, Mai Shayi 01, Madubin Gobe, Anurika, Ogu Love, Ndi Ajo Obi, among others, on the indigenous channels.
Tejumola also highlighted that the Step-Up promo, which runs until March 31, provides a solution for DStv and GOtv subscribers who want access to all 155 movies on Africa Magic but are subscribed to lower packages.
She explained that subscribers who upgrade or reconnect to the next higher package will receive an automatic upgrade to an even higher package within 48 hours.
For example, a Compact subscriber could enjoy premium content by upgrading to Compact Plus.
Tejumola also mentioned that viewers can watch the films on the go via the DStv app at no additional cost. The app is available for download from the Apple and Google Play stores.
