The Ogun State Police Command has unveiled images of three women who fell victim to the recently apprehended serial killer, Adebayo Olamide Azeez.
Two days ago, the command apprehended the suspect along with two others, following the disappearance of Sulaimon Adijat, a woman who was reported missing.
Subsequent investigations by the police uncovered that Adebayo and his cohorts targeted females they met through the “MyChat” hookup platform on social media, ultimately leading to their demise.
Adebayo admitted to the police that between September 2023 and January 11, 2024, he and his associates lured and killed seven victims. The disappearance of Sulaimon Adijat sparked the investigation, ultimately shedding light on the heinous activities of the perpetrators.
The suspect gave vivid details of how he conspired with a couple, Moses Abidemi Awuraji and Maria Awuraji, at Igbi Olomi Atan, Ogun State, to kill the women. The suspects confessed that they strangulated their victims to death and dismembered their body parts, which were sold to Oluwo Mondy Samuel’m’ and Alfa Ariwo’m’ (who is still at large) for ritual purposes.
