Some residents of the Federal Capital Territory have looted a warehouse belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency.
It was reported that the warehouse, located at Karimo Phase 3 Region of the FCT area of Abuja, was raided in the early hours of Sunday as a result of the current economic hardship in the country.

It was reported that personnel of the Nigeria Police Force in Abuja have been deployed to the area to disperse the looters and secure the building.
The spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the incident to newsmen said the situation had been brought under control.
“The situation is now under control,” she said.
