Real Madrid’s appeal to overturn the two-match ban imposed on Jude Bellingham has been dismissed by the Spanish Football Federation’s , SFF, Competition Committee.

Bellingham, who is currently the top scorer in LaLiga with 16 goals, will be unavailable for Sunday’s match against Celta Vigo and the game against Osasuna on March 16. This is because he received a two-game suspension after being shown a red card for protesting against the referee’s decision to end the match just before he scored a potential winning goal in Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Valencia.

According to the referee’s report, Bellingham displayed an “aggressive attitude” and repeatedly shouted “it’s a f—ing goal.”

Bellingham, who transferred to Madrid from Borussia Dortmund last summer, expressed his frustration with the two-game ban, calling it “a bit ridiculous.” He suggested that because he’s new to the league, referees might be trying to set an example with him.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti came to Bellingham’s defense, praising his commitment on the field. Ancelotti stated that Bellingham didn’t use any insults and described the red card incident as a mistake.

Real Madrid, currently leading the league, will face Celta Vigo on Sunday with a seven-point lead over second-placed Girona.
