President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the reappointment of Dr. Vincent Isegbe as the Director-General of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service, NAQS.

Dr. Isegbe will continue to serve in this role for another five-year term.

This decision was announced in a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

The presidential spokesman noted that Tinubu expects that “Isegbe will build on the service’s recent performance after it ranked in the top three agencies of the Federal Government in the efficiency and transparency index by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council, PEBEC.
