Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has disclosed plans to take a break from the movie industry next year.

The actor, in a recent podcast interview with content creator Kamsi Nnamani, revealed that he has been working tirelessly for 14 years with minimal sleep and breaks.

He said he has only managed six hours of sleep a day.

His words: “I only rest when I go out at night. I only sleep five to six hours a day. And then keep the work going. But next year I’m going on a sabbatical. I have been acting for the past fourteen years consistently.

“There has never been a downtime or a time when I’m just chilling. And I did not say that with pride. I say that with all humility. It has just been God.”

He mentioned that he discovered acting by accompanying his sister, actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, to sets. Initially, he would go to sets to protect her, but he eventually fell in love with acting.

Timini began his acting journey in 2010 on “Tinsel,” an M-Net soap opera. Since then, he has starred in several hit films like “Breaded Life,” “Elevator Baby,” “Introducing the Kuju,” “Dinner At My Place,” and “A Tribe Called Judah.”
