Popular comedian and filmmaker Ayo Makun, widely known as AY, recently surprised his fans by publicly celebrating his 17-year-old son for the first time.

Ayodeji Richard Makun also known by his stage name A.Y, is a Nigerian actor, comedian, radio and TV presenter, writer, producer and film director. Born on 19 August 1971, he hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo State. He is the host of the A.Y live shows and A.Y comedy skits. His first movie, 30 Days in Atlanta was produced by him and directed by Robert O. Peters. He was made a U.N Peace Ambassador in 2009. He is also the CEO of Corporate World Entertainment Nigeria

Revealing his son’s name as Denzel, AY expressed his excitement at the prospect of reuniting with him.

Taking to his Instagram page, AY shared photos of the birthday celebrant, accompanied by a heartfelt message: “my son is 17.

May each day be a step closer to your dreams, filled with the warmth of love and the thrill of new adventures. Happy birthday, Denzel. Daddy loves you. See you soon.”

The post garnered significant attention, sparking a wave of reactions from fans who flooded the comment section with inquiries and well-wishes.

Slim Kiki wrote, “Oga you need to explain better o. Please your son from which woman? Because as far as I know, it’s only Micheal and Ayomide who are your kids so this son is from where?”
