Secondus, Sekibo, others declare support for Tinubu, Fubara

Uche Secondus, a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, and member of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 general elections in Rivers State, have declared their loyalty and support for President Bola Tinubu and state governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Dr. Abiye Sekibo, the Director-General of PDP-PCC Rivers State and a former Minister of Transportation, made the announcement on Thursday during a news conference in Port Harcourt.

Among those in attendance at the briefing were Secondus, Austin Opara, Celestine Omehia, Tele Ikuru, the former deputy governor of the state, Senator Lee Maeba, and Dr. Gabriel Pidomson, the former secretary of the Rivers State government. In the most recent elections, the council endorsed Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s nominee for president in 2023.
