President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku has underscored the importance of the upcoming Nigeria Public Relations Week, NPRW 2024, in Abeokuta saying the event would earn participants valuable points for professional upgrade in all membership cadre.
He designated the event as a Mandatory Continuing Professional Development certified program, emphasizing its significance within the realm of professional development for public relations practitioners.
A statement issued by the Chairman, Public Relations and Stakeholders Sub-Committee, NPRW Abeokuta, Akin Okudero noted that NIPR members who wish to attend are permitted to do so as the event provides an opportunity to earn valuable points in the quest for professional upgrade in all membership cadres.

“NPRW Abeokuta 2024 will be held at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State between April 22 & 26, 2024.
“It will comprise conferences, youth engagement & interactive sessions with traditional rulers, social events like the Adire on Runway and guided tours of places of interest in Abeokuta. It will also include a mini golf kitty at the Abeokuta Golf Club.
“Speakers will include top government functionaries, captains of industries and top professionals in the area of strategic communication, facilitating the over 25 training sessions scheduled for the Week,” the statement partly read.
Okudero urged members to take full advantage of this unique opportunity, citing an additional incentive to register for the Week.
