Beverly Osu, an actress and model, has revealed the reasons behind her decision to drop out of university.

Speaking on the latest episode of “The Discourse With Ken,” she discussed her experience balancing a budding career as a video vixen with her studies.

She explained that while her education at Babcock University was initially going well, she began facing criticism for her work as a video vixen, which led to trouble at school.

“In Babcock University, everything was nice, and education was going well, but because I was on TV at the age of 16 as a video vixen, Nigerians did not understand the term ‘video vixen’ then, so they always used to criticize me and take pictures to school,” she said.

Osu recounted facing disciplinary issues every weekend due to the scrutiny she faced. Ultimately, she made the decision to leave the institution before the situation escalated.

“I just felt that let me leave before it gets sour, you know how Babcock is, it’s very strict for lack of a better word. I left because I felt so comfortable doing what I was doing, and I knew I could balance it, so I left,” she explained.

Regarding her parents’ reactions to the development, Osu noted that her mother was initially upset but gradually came around. “My mother didn’t believe I left, and she said, ‘After all the money I paid.”

” We had struggled back and forth because of it, but at some point, she just realized, “This girl is determined, and Ada will do whatever Ada wants to do.” I worked hard because I thought modelling was the right path for me,” she added.
