Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed UK-based Nigerian Pelumi Nubi, who embarked on a remarkable journey from Lagos to London, as the Lagos Tourism ambassador.
This announcement came during his meeting with the travel content creator.
Additionally, the Governor generously offered to cover the expenses of her travel, alongside presenting her with a new apartment and a car. Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Governor Sanwo-Olu, Jubril Gawat, shared this exciting news on his social media handle.

He wrote: “MOMENT: When Governor of Lagos, Mr @jidesanwoolu, named @peluminubi_ as a Lagos Tourism Ambassador, the State will pay for her entire trip, and she will receive a brand new car and an apartment in Lagos. Pelumi was extremely overwhelmed.”
