US-based Trinidadian-born rapper, Nicki Minaj, has achieved a historic milestone by breaking the record for the highest grossing tour by a female rapper in history.
Minaj also shattered the record for the highest-grossing concert by a female rapper, earning $2.858 million at Madison Square Garden in New York on March 30, 2024, according to American statistics company Touring Data.
Her ‘Pink Friday 2’ tour has officially become the most successful tour by a female rapper, generating $34.9 million from 220,000 tickets sold in its first 17 shows.

“@NICKIMINAJ’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ officially became the most successful tour by a female rapper in history, with $34.9 million from 220,000 tickets sold in its first 17 shows,” Touring Data tweeted.
She earned $34.9 million from just 30% of the tour, and she is predicted to make $100 million by the end of the tour later this year.
After a Nigerian fan complained about Africa’s exclusion from her globe tour locations, the “Queen of Rap” stated that if enough fans expressed interest, she would consider including Nigeria on her ‘Pinky Friday 2’ tour.
