Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning singer, has joined the list of the Most Influential People of 2024.
Times Magazine named the multi-award-winning artist one of the top 100 most influential people in 2024.
According to the publication, TIME published the TIME 100, a list of the people who they believe had the greatest influence on the stories that defined the year.

In a tribute to Burna Boy, veteran singer Angelique Kidjo said that ten years ago, young African musicians approached her for advice.
She stated that she always warned them not to imitate An American artists, claiming that the world requires the incredible richness and beauty of traditional African music.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, April 17, Times magazine stated, “We spend months debating who belongs on the TIME100, the people who we believe most changed the stories that defined the previous year.”
