The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Kebbi Sate Council, Hamza Galadima Zuru, is dead.
A statement released by Zone A Secretary, Abdulrazak Bello noted that Galadima died on Thursday at the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi after a battling a prolonged illness.

“Zuru contributed greatly to the growth and development of journalism in Kebbi state.
“In this time of mourning, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, colleagues and the entire journalism community. We mourn the loss of a great leader and colleague,” the statement.
