“Jalam was a dedicated public servant, whose commitment to the development and well-being of his local communities was unwavering. During his life time he championed numerous initiatives aimed at improving good governance and community relations,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has expressed his deepest grief on the demise of his longtime confidant.

Bala in a message of condolence issued by his new media aide, Lawal Muazu Bauchi, said Jalam’ sudden passing leaves a profound emptiness and casts a pall of mourning over the state, as he was known for his tireless work, dedication to the administration and the growth of his administration.

He prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus and give those he left behind the fortitude to bear the great loss.
