An 18-seater bus operated by Big Joe Motors was reportedly hijacked by suspected armed kidnappers along Kogi-Abuja road, abducting passengers.
It was gathered that the bus, which departed from Aduwawa Motor Park in Benin, Edo State, heading to Abuja was hijacked by the kidnappers in Okene, where all the passengers, including the driver were abducted.
Travelers are advised to exercise increased caution when passing through Okene, and surrounding areas.

Recall that in April, a similar incident occurred where kidnappers intercepted a fully loaded Toyota Sienna bus and abducted all its occupants.
