Nigerian music video director Thank-God Omori, widely known as TG Omori, has called for prayers following an unsuccessful kidney transplant.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Omori disclosed that the kidney transplant procedure he underwent at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos on Tuesday was unsuccessful. He expressed his fear of dying and his determination to keep fighting.

“One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas Lagos. Pray for me. Went into this theater 3 times, wasn’t just destined to die today. Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidney so I could live again,” he posted on X, formerly called Twitter.
On the 19th of December 2023, TG Omori hinted about his health issues in a post on X, saying, “it’s all fun and jokes but fake drinks left me hospitalized most part of this year”. Fans and colleagues have taken to social media to express their shock and also pray for his quick recovery.
