Hoodlums have seized the wife of retired AIG of Police, Hakeem Odumosu from her residence in the Arepo area of Ogun State, as confirmed by the police authorities.

The assailants, who were well-armed, forced their way into the house early Friday and took her away without resistance.

In response to this alarming situation, the Ogun State Police Command has swiftly deployed officers to assist in the efforts to rescue her and apprehend those responsible for the kidnapping.

A spokesperson for the police force shared that various measures are already in place to gather intelligence and track down the whereabouts of the victim.

The spokesperson also reassured the public, emphasizing that the police are fully committed to ensuring the safe return of the abducted woman.

This abduction has caused significant concern within the Arepo community, which is generally known for its tranquility and low crime rate, making this incident all the more unsettling for its residents.
