The forum of National Youth leaders of All Political Parties in Nigeria has raised alarm over the abduction of Mr. Eniola Ojajuni, National President of Afenifere Youths, calling for his immediate release.
Mr Eniola was abducted on February 17 in Abuja.
In a statement signed by its co-chairmen, Eze-Onyebuchi Chukwu and Chinaza Ike, the group condemned the act, describing it as alarming and unacceptable.
A recently surfaced video shows Ojajuni pleading for help, heightening concerns over his safety. The forum urged President Bola Tinubu, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, security agencies, and all Nigerians to take urgent steps to secure his release.
“We appeal to those holding him to reconsider their actions. Whatever their reasons, his life must not be at risk,” the statement read.
Calling for intensified security measures, the forum stressed the need for decisive action against kidnappings, stating, “No citizen should endure such a traumatic ordeal.”
