Amid political realignments among political big wigs, Onitsha-based cleric, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, aka Odumeje, has announced his intention to give President Bola Tinubu a run for his money come 2027.
In a viral video from his church, the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry in Anambra State, Odumeje emphasized the need for youthful leadership. He stated that the country requires a “digital leader” who understands the people’s struggles and aspirations.
“We need a young leader in this country, and I think I am coming out. We need a digital leader, not old cargoes,” he declared.
While he did not specify the election year he intends to run, the cleric expressed confidence in his ability to provide Nigerians with a modern and technologically advanced society.
“I know what you need. I know what you want. I want to construct a main road called Citadel for you. I want to give you a modern life, a digital life,” he added.
With the 2027 presidential election approaching, political movements have intensified, and Odumeje’s declaration has sparked conversations about his potential candidacy.
