Popular TikTok content creator “Disturbing,” also known as “Buckle,” has died after suffering a seizure while streaming live from his home in Ikorodu, Lagos.

The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, with a viral video capturing the final moments of the entertainer. In the footage, he appeared distressed before collapsing, sparking concern among viewers and neighbors.

Disturbing was widely known in his community not only for his comedic and musical talents but also as a cobbler.

He had also been a vocal supporter of the “Justice for Mohbad” movement, advocating for accountability following the death of the late singer.

His wife, Omowunmi, who is pregnant, shared heartbreaking details about the incident on TikTok. She said she was in the kitchen preparing his meal when neighbors called her attention to the situation.

She rushed out to find her husband on the ground, bleeding from the head after he had fallen and struck a stone.

Omowunmi explained that some bystanders initially thought he had fainted and attempted to revive him by pouring water on him before she intervened.

She clarified that he had experienced a seizure, not a fainting episode.

He was quickly taken to the hospital and placed on oxygen. Despite medical efforts, he passed away the following morning.

Omowunmi disclosed that Disturbing had a history of seizures and had been on medication to manage the condition.

She stated that his last seizure occurred in February and emphasized that she rarely left him unattended to prevent accidents during episodes.

Addressing speculations surrounding his death, Omowunmi dismissed rumors of a spiritual attack, insisting the cause was entirely medical.

She added that if she had been beside him during the live broadcast, she might have been able to catch him before he fell.

The news of his death has sent shockwaves through the social media community, where fans and fellow creators have paid tribute to his memory, praising his talent, activism, and contribution to local entertainment.
