The Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS, Football Club of Ilorin on Saturday secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Sporting Lagos FC in a Nigeria National League Matchday 15 encounter in Ilorin, Kwara.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that with the win at the George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, ABS returns to winning ways after a winless run of three matches.
The first half of the match ended goalless, but ABS persistence paid off when substitute Boluwatife Ajina scored the decisive goal in added time.
Ajina tapped in a pass from Ayoku Abdulraman thus sending the Ilorin fans into wild celebrations.

ABS Head Coach Anthony Encho praised his players’ fighting spirit, noting the result was a huge relief for the home team.
“I am proud of the players’ zeal and determination as we worked. hard for this victory.
“The win has moved us up the table and we look forward to build on this momentum,” he said.
Goal scorer, Boluwatife Ajina expressed happiness with his goal and pledged to sustain his scoring momentum in the team’s benefit.
“I pray to continue scoring to assist the team achieve it aims this season.
“The win is a great boost for us and us. Are looking forward to the next game.” he said.
