Social media was set abuzz on Thursday when Nigerian music producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, sparked excitement with a spontaneous giveaway, gifting a lucky fan ₦6 million.

The gesture began when Adeyemi tagged Don Jazzy in a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), asking the music mogul for a gift of ₦1 million. She wrote, “Make I tag #DONJAZZY. I dey always dream about him. Happy new month sir.” Don Jazzy responded by asking her for her bank details, which she shared, and soon after, she received a ₦1 million credit alert.

However, Don Jazzy wasn’t done. Upon noticing that Adeyemi’s account balance was just ₦67.29, he responded with, “Amen ooo. That your akant balance is not healthy. I don add another 5 million. More blessings ma.” Adeyemi was overwhelmed with gratitude, thanking Don Jazzy for the life-changing gesture. She confirmed receiving the additional ₦5 million, making the total gift ₦6 million.

In her excitement, Adeyemi posted, “Oluwa oo. I am deeply grateful for this extraordinary blessing. May the Almighty who used you to lift me reward you beyond measure.” Her heartfelt message was met with praise from her followers, who admired Don Jazzy’s generosity.

Similarly, Nigerian music star Crown Uzama, aka Shallipopi, also participated in viral giveaways by gifting millions of naira to his fans. Shallipopi transferred ₦1 million each to two fans, one of whom, Samuel Uchechukwu Ifesinachi, had jokingly said, “Money to buy speaker no dey.” Shallipopi, in response to the fan’s tweet, surprised him with the money and shared the transfer receipt.

These acts of kindness have resonated widely, as they not only offer financial support but also spread positivity across social media platforms.
