The Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, in collaboration with the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System, NIBSS, has launched a digital platform designed to enhance the efficiency of service delivery in Nigeria’s business registration sector.
The joint initiative aims to simplify and fast-track the registration of businesses, improve identity verification, and integrate seamless financial services into CAC’s processes. The platform is expected to reduce delays, eliminate redundancies, and boost transparency in the country’s formal business sector.
Speaking during the official inauguration ceremony, CAC Registrar-General Hussaini Magaji noted that the partnership with NIBSS will enable real-time validation of data and linkages with national identification systems such as the National Identity Number and Bank Verification Number.

NIBSS Managing Director, Premier Oiwoh, lauded the collaboration as a step forward in bridging the gap between regulatory institutions and financial service providers. He affirmed NIBSS’s commitment to providing secure, reliable platforms to support national development initiatives.
Industry stakeholders say the platform is likely to improve regulatory compliance and give small businesses better access to formal banking and credit systems.
