Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, Jandor, the Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, has described the death of Prince Musbau Ashafa, Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area, LCDA, as a significant loss
Adediran, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, expressed his deep sorrow in a statement released on Saturday by his spokesman, Pastor Gbenga Ogunleye.
The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, in a statement said that Ashafa, son of Oba Momodu Ashafa, the Onijanikin of Ijanikin Kingdom passed away on Friday after a prolonged illness.

“The death of Hon. Ashafa is a painful loss, not just to his family and the people of Oto-Awori, but to the entire state,” Adediran said. “I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Oto-Awori community. May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanah Firdaus.”
Ashafa was serving his second term as council chairman at the time of his death. He was a former APC chairman in Otto-Awori LCDA and previously served as chairman of the old Ojo Local Government during the military regime of General Sani Abacha.
