Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced it will begin nationwide distribution of Premium Motor Spirit and diesel from August 15, 2025.
To support the initiative, the company has acquired 4,000 brand-new Compressed Natural Gas, CNG, powered tankers, ensuring a sustainable and cost-effective transport solution.
Additionally, it is investing in the development of CNG daughter booster stations and deploying over 100 specialized CNG tankers to further streamline product distribution across urban and rural locations.
According to the company, this distribution will extend to petrol marketers, independent dealers, manufacturers, telecom operators, aviation operators, and other large fuel consumers.
All fuel purchases under this initiative come with free logistics, reducing costs for stakeholders and increasing access to fuel, especially in underserved areas.
“This program reflects our commitment to national development,” the company stated. “By eliminating logistics barriers and promoting clean energy usage, we are making fuel more affordable while supporting economic growth and job creation.”
As part of the offer, petrol stations purchasing directly from Dangote Refinery will enjoy not just free distribution, but also access to a credit facility.
