The countdown to one of Nigeria’s most anticipated television shows has begun as Big Brother Naija returns for its landmark 10th season with a record-breaking grand prize of ₦150 million.
The announcement was made by Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of General Entertainment at MultiChoice Group, during a press conference held in Lagos on Wednesday.
Tejumola revealed that the new season, billed as the biggest yet, will premiere with a two-night launch on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, and run for 10 weeks, culminating in the grand finale on Sunday, October 5.
“Today, we are not just announcing another season—we are celebrating a legacy,” Tejumola said. “The official theme for Season 10 will be revealed during the premiere weekend, but what we can promise is a fresh wave of excitement, energy, and unforgettable moments.”
The popular media personality and longtime BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, will return to guide the show’s live evictions, diary sessions, and dramatic twists, ensuring continuity for loyal fans while welcoming new viewers to the franchise.
Tejumola noted that BBNaija has grown far beyond the realm of reality TV to become “a living, breathing cultural force” that has launched the careers of influencers, entertainers, fashionistas, and creatives across Nigeria and beyond.

As BBNaija enters its 10th year, fans can expect not just intense competition among housemates, but also high-end production, interactive fan experiences, and a broader cultural influence, cementing its place as Nigeria’s biggest reality TV show.
