In a bid to boost Nigeria’s aviation, automotive, and security industries, a Nigerian-German company, the Allied Support Network Limited, ASN, is planning to invest in the country.

Mr James Erebuoye, CEO of ASN, told the News Agency of Nigeria that with a multi-billion Euro Intellectual Property Right SHIFT, incorporated in October 2023, ASN aims to strengthen local capacity, reduce unemployment and promote economic growth.

He further explained that the company’s innovations will focus on three core areas: civil and security aviation, automotive manufacturing and advanced security solutions.

According to him, with over 40 years of experience in aircraft design and production, ASN’s team of aeronautic engineers has delivered more than 5,000 aircraft for global clients.

“Now, the company aims to channel this expertise into Africa’s industrial growth, with Nigeria as the hub.

“ASN plans to employ more than 500,000 workers as part of its long-term strategy to boost local capacity and reduce unemployment.

“This move is expected to have a significant impact on Nigeria’s economy, providing opportunities for young Nigerians and contributing to the country’s growth and development,” he said.

According to him, the company is set to establish the first aviation manufacturing company in Africa, with its guiding slogan: “Innovation made in Nigeria, Africa for Africa.”

“This initiative will not only create jobs but also promote Africa’s aerospace self-reliance through local manufacturing.

“At the forefront of ASN’s aviation programme is the SAFE CITY project, which will be launched in Delta in 2026.

“The project includes the production of aircraft and automotives, alongside critical infrastructure such as housing, healthcare facilities, recreational centres, and expatriate accommodations.

“As the company prepares to launch its SAFE CITY project and establish the first aviation manufacturing company in Africa, the future looks bright for Nigeria’s industrial sector.”
