Actress Regina Daniels has stirred shock online after a viral video surfaced of her tearfully alleging abuse from her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.
In the emotional clip, Regina, visibly shaken, says, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my house, I am a queen. I cannot stand the violence again; it is too much.”
The short video, which spread rapidly across social media platforms on Friday, sparked mixed emotions among Nigerians, prompting widespread debate about her marriage and well-being.
Her elder brother, Sammy West, publicly expressed outrage, alleging that Nwoko physically assaulted his sister and even sent thugs after her. He vowed to protect her at all costs, declaring that he would “fight with his blood” against anyone who lays hands on a woman.
His reaction intensified public concern, leading many to call for justice and an end to domestic abuse in celebrity marriages.

The controversy also caught the attention of popular social commentator VeryDarkMan, who made a mock video referencing the situation. In his post, he said, “I will rather cry in a Lamborghini don Dey cry out for help,” taking a jab at the viral incident and sparking further conversations online.
Social media users have since flooded comment sections with mixed views. A Facebook user, Jay ONeH, wrote, “It’s not easy to marry an old man, because you can’t joke with him like your mate, moreso a Delta man, they don’t play with age.”
Another user, Nwafor Freedom, commented, “This October is different from other Octobers oo.” Similarly, Som-Bekee Francis quipped, “Marry for money, don’t marry for love… na the matter we dey settle since.”
While some Nigerians have sympathized with Regina, urging her to leave any abusive relationship, others argue that the video might not be real. They suggest it could be content creation or a publicity stunt to attract attention.
As of press time, Ned Nwoko has not made any official statement to debunk or address the growing allegations.
