10 players hit Super Eagles camp in Morocco

At least 10 players have hit the camp of the Super Eagles in Morocco ahead of the 2026 World Cup Play-Offs.

Top on the list of early arrivals in the camp of the Super Eagles are the Captain, William-Troost-Ekong, and midfielder Alex Iwobi.

The Super Eagles and Panthers of Gabon are billed to clash on November 13 in the first semifinal clash as Cameroon and DR Congo are also expected to play later the same day in the playoff series involving four teams.

Only one ticket is available for the four Confederation of Africa Football teams.

After this round, the winner will play in the intercontinental playoffs involving six teams from all the confederations, with two FIFA World Cup tickets available.

Other players in the Super Eagles camp as of 6:30 pm on Sunday were Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, and Wilfred Ndidi.

Others are Olakunle Olusegun, Moses Simon, Benjamin Fredricks, and Chigozie Awaziem.

More players are expected to arrive late on Sunday and in the early on Monday.

Some of the players invited, including striker Victor Osimhen, were still in action on Sunday for their respective clubs abroad.

A total of 24 players were invited by Coach Eric Chelle for the big tournament.

So, 14 more players are expected to join Manager Chelle in Morocco.
