The Nigeria Film Corporation, NFC, organiser of Zuma International Film festival has announced two renowned Chinese filmmakers, Zhou  Xinxia and Chai Hongfang, as facilitators of the master class of the 15th edition of film festival scheduled for Dec. 1 to Dec.5 in Abuja.

Mr Brian Etuk, NFC’s Director of Public Affairs, in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, disclosed that their participation as master class facilitators is a testament to the growing partnership between Zuma International Film Festival and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Abuja.

He said that the Chinese resources persons collaboration promised to strengthen cinematic ties and promote storytelling that shapes human development.

“The two renowned Chinese filmmakers will be joining us at Zuma 2025, bringing their award-winning documentary film ‘Rooting’, a thought-provoking film that is a must-watch, followed by an engagement questions & answer session.

“Join us on Dec.1 to Dec.5, in Abuja to be part of this cinematic journey. Let’s celebrate the power of storytelling and its impact on our world.

“Do not miss out on this opportunity to engage, learn, and share in the magic of film,” he said.

Etuk further said the 5 days grand celebration of cinematic excellence of the 15th Edition of Zuma International Film Festival, gearing up at Chida Hotel & Events Centre, would be a hub of creativity, innovation, and inspiration.

“We cannot wait to share it with you, get ready to immerse yourself in the best of cinematic experiences, with thought-provoking films, insightful discussions, and unforgettable cultural performances.

” It is going to be an epic celebration, and we are honoured to have you be a part of it,” he said.
