Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2face, has publicly spoken for the first time since ongoing tensions between him and his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, became a major topic of online debate.

The singer broke his silence on Wednesday through a brief but emotionally charged Instagram Story post that simply read, “Help me,” sparking renewed discussions and concern among fans.

His message surfaced shortly after his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, issued a public plea of his own. Hyacinth paired his comments with lyrics from one of 2face’s well-known songs, suggesting that the inspirational words the singer once penned appear to reflect his current struggles.

“You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant… Allow us save you. You’ve been suffering for too long,” he wrote, deepening speculation that the family is worried about the singer’s emotional state.

The unfolding situation adds to several weeks of public drama involving 2face and Osawaru. Reports indicate that the tension originated in the United Kingdom, where the couple allegedly had a heated confrontation that drew police attention and briefly resulted in the singer’s detention.

Although details of the incident remain unclear, the episode marked the beginning of a trail of controversies that have intensified in the digital space.

The issue resurfaced during a widely watched Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.

Viewers observed the couple engaged in a tense exchange, with clips circulating widely across social media platforms.

These moments have contributed to mounting speculation about the state of their marriage, particularly as neither party has stepped forward to offer a detailed explanation.

As discussions grow, fans and colleagues have expressed concern about 2face’s well-being, noting that his recent posts appear uncharacteristically vulnerable.

Many have called for privacy and empathy, urging the public to avoid amplifying unverified claims and to allow the couple space to resolve their issues away from the spotlight.

For now, neither 2face nor Natasha Osawaru has issued an official clarification on the series of incidents.

The absence of a formal statement has left room for continued speculation, though family members’ public comments suggest that those close to the singer believe he may be going through a difficult period.

The situation remains under close public watch, with fans hoping for reassurance from the couple or a resolution that reduces online tension. As of the time of filing this report, no new updates have been released.
