TikTok influencer and live streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has been hospitalised after crashing his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz during an emotional livestream in Lagos.
The incident happened on Sunday along the Lekki-Epe Expressway while Peller was broadcasting live on Instagram. In the widely circulated footage, he appeared visibly distressed and was driving alone at the time of the crash.
During the livestream, Peller was seen crying and speaking in an agitated manner, expressing deep fears about public ridicule if his romantic relationship ended.
His comments became increasingly alarming as the broadcast progressed, with the influencer making statements that suggested emotional instability and self-harm.
At one point, he said he would deliberately crash his car, later repeating his fear of being mocked and stating he was scared.
Moments after these remarks, the livestream captured his vehicle veering off the road and colliding with a barrier, leaving the luxury car badly damaged.
Bystanders at the scene quickly intervened and helped Peller out of the wrecked vehicle before he was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

While it has been confirmed that he is receiving care, details about the extent of his injuries have not been officially disclosed.
The crash has reignited public attention on Peller’s highly publicised relationship with fellow content creator Jarvis.
