Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has returned to London, after a fatal car crash in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two of his close friends.
Joshua was said to have arrived at London Stansted Airport aboard a private jet on Friday evening.
His return came after the Nigeria Police Force charged the 46-year-old driver of the vehicle, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, with dangerous driving causing death. Kayode is expected to appear in court on January 20.
Reports indicated that Joshua, 36, travelled back to Britain ahead of the funerals of Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele.

Ayodele and Ghami died at the scene, while Joshua and Kayode sustained minor injuries. Joshua was taken to hospital and later discharged on Wednesday.
Ghami was Joshua’s long-time strength and conditioning coach, while Ayodele served as his personal trainer, according to British media reports.
The 2012 Olympic champion, who has family roots in Nigeria, was visiting the country on holiday following his victory over Jake Paul in Miami on December 19.
