After securing overwhelming endorsement across the country in APC presidential primary election held Saturday, President Bola Tinubu will on Sunday, receive the Certificate of Returns and flag of the party as its presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.
The presentation will take place in Abuja, following the nationwide collation of the party’s presidential primary election results, Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga disclosed in Abuja.
According to Onanuga, the APC Presidential Primary Elections Committee will formally present the certificate and party flag to the President at the event.
APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee, National Working Committee, National Assembly members and other party stalwarts are expected to attend the ceremony slated for the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Meanwhile, in Jigawa State, President Tinubu scored 206,420 votes to emerge the winner of the APC presidential primary election.
Gov. Umar Namadi, who is the Chief Returning Officer for the APC Presidential primary election, announced the result in Dutse on Saturday.
Namadi declared Tinubu the winner after collating results from the 27 local government areas of the state.
“My name is Umar Namadi, the Coalition Officer for Jigawa state. The total number of registered voters in Jigawa is 330,327 and the total number of accredited voters is 206,520.
“The scores by the two contestants is as follows, President Bola Tinubu scored 206,520 votes while Mr Stanley Osifor scored zero vote,” Namadi said.
While commending the local government coalition officers for their diligence and hardwork, Namadi said the result would be transmitted to the APC headquarters for the final declaration of the winner of the primary education.
