Afrobeats stars Davido, Tems and Wizkid are set to headline the 2026 edition of AfroPlus Fest, scheduled to take place from Sept. 4 to 6 at the Washington Commanders’ stadium grounds in Maryland, United States.

The organizers unveiled the star-studded lineup on the festival’s official Instagram page, confirming that Davido will headline the opening night on Sept. 4, Tems will lead performances on Sept. 5, while Wizkid will bring the three-day event to a close on Sept. 6.

The festival, which is scheduled to coincide with the U.S. Labor Day weekend, will also feature performances from some of the biggest names in African and global music, including Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr and Olamide.

Other artistes billed to perform include American rappers Lil Baby, Latto, Sexyy Red and Chief Keef, alongside Jamaican dancehall star Alkaline, highlighting the festival’s blend of Afrobeats, hip-hop and Caribbean sounds.

AfroPlus Fest returns in 2026 after making its debut as a one-day event in Washington, D.C., in August 2025. Organizers said the maiden edition attracted an estimated 20,000 attendees, marking a strong entry for the festival on the international music calendar.

The 2026 edition is expected to further showcase the global influence of Afrobeats, with fans expressing excitement over the rare gathering of Davido, Tems and Wizkid on the same stage.

The appearance of the three Nigerian superstars has generated widespread reactions online, with many fans describing the lineup as a major moment for African music and another step in the genre’s growing global dominance.
