Wedding bells may soon be ringing in the family of Nollywood actress Omotola Ekeinde, following the engagement announcement of her second daughter, Meraiah Ekeinde.

Meraiah, 25, shared the exciting news with her followers on social media, marking a new chapter in her personal life after establishing herself professionally in the fashion and modelling industry.

The young fashion professional announced her engagement through a short but romantic video posted online. In the clip, she was seen taking a stroll along the beach before turning the camera’s attention to her engagement ring.

She also briefly revealed her fiancé in the video, although she did not provide details about his identity or their relationship.

Keeping the announcement simple and private, Meraiah captioned the post “New chapter,” signaling the beginning of a new phase in her life.

The announcement quickly attracted attention from fans, friends and well-wishers, who took to social media to congratulate her on the engagement.

Members of the Ekeinde family also joined in celebrating the milestone. Meraiah’s mother, Omotola Ekeinde, and her siblings reposted the engagement video on their respective social media platforms, further drawing attention to the announcement.

The engagement comes as Meraiah continues to build her own identity and career away from the entertainment industry that made her family widely known.

She currently works as a model, fashion merchandiser and apparel product developer, with her professional interests largely centred on fashion, design and the development of clothing products.

Having grown up in the public eye as one of Omotola Ekeinde’s children, Meraiah has gradually carved out a career for herself in the fashion and modelling space.

Her engagement announcement has now added a major personal milestone to her journey, with fans and family members celebrating the development.

Although she gave followers a glimpse of her fiancé, Meraiah has so far chosen to keep details about their relationship and forthcoming wedding private. She has also not announced a wedding date or revealed further information about plans for the ceremony.

The announcement has nevertheless generated excitement among fans of the Ekeinde family, with many anticipating further details about the couple and their plans.

For Meraiah, the engagement represents more than a social media announcement, as she begins what she described as a “new chapter” while continuing to pursue her career and personal goals.
