The release of “Starlife” comes after his debut studio album, “Stubborn,” which was released in 2024 and introduced a more extensive body of work following his earlier musical projects.
Victony later released his eight-track EP, “Very Stubborn,” further building on the sound and creative direction established with his debut album.
The singer has continued to attract attention within the Afrobeats industry through his distinctive sound, songwriting and collaborations with other leading artistes.
His breakthrough gained significant momentum following the success of “Soweto,” a song that earned widespread recognition and helped establish him as one of the emerging voices in contemporary Nigerian music.
Since then, Victony has maintained a steady presence in the industry, releasing music and collaborating with artistes while developing a distinct identity that blends Afrobeats with elements of pop and other contemporary sounds.
With “Starlife,” the singer brings together 15 tracks designed to showcase his musical growth while maintaining the style and creativity that have characterized his career.
The album’s release also provides Victony with another opportunity to strengthen his connection with his growing fan base in Nigeria and beyond.
The sophomore project further adds to his catalogue and signals the continuation of what has been a steadily rising career in the Nigerian music industry.
