Felicity Eseke, an inDrive driver and mother of five, has been rewarded with a brand-new Wuling XC250 2025 after five years of driving for the ride-hailing platform.

Eseke’s recognition follows years of dedication to supporting her family and keeping her children in school through her earnings from driving. She has completed more than 2,766 rides since joining inDrive, according to reports.

The vehicle was presented to Eseke at a ceremony held at Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, in the presence of content creator Akinyemi Oluwaseun, popularly known as Asherkine, fellow inDrive drivers and other well-wishers.

Eseke’s story came to the attention of inDrive after her daughter, Louisa Eseke, contacted the company to share how much her mother had inspired her over the years.

Louisa wanted her mother’s dedication to her family and commitment to her work to be recognized. For Eseke, driving became more than a means of earning a living; it became a way to provide for her children and support their education.

Despite the demands of raising five children, Eseke continued to spend long hours on the road, using her earnings to meet her family’s needs and pay for her children’s schooling.

Her experience reflects the sacrifices many parents make in working to secure better opportunities for their children.

Since joining inDrive five years ago, she has completed more than 2,766 rides, highlighting her consistency and commitment to the platform.

Timothy Oladimeji, Country Manager of inDrive Nigeria, said Eseke’s story reflects the resilience of drivers who work tirelessly to provide for their families.

He said the company wanted to recognize the human stories behind the thousands of people who use its platform to earn a living and support their loved ones.

“Eseke’s story represents determination, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to her children. She reminds us that behind every trip is a person with a dream, a family, and a reason to keep going.

“We are proud to celebrate her and recognize the incredible journey she has undertaken for her children,” Oladimeji said.

For Eseke, the recognition was not simply about receiving a new vehicle but also an acknowledgement of the years of hard work and sacrifice she had invested in her family.

The mother of five expressed gratitude to inDrive for recognizing her efforts and providing a platform that has enabled her to earn a living and support her family.

“I am really grateful to inDrive for recognizing and celebrating me. I am equally excited about inDrive for creating a platform that allows me to earn a livelihood. “I see this gift as a big reward for the hard work,” Eseke said.

After five years of driving to give her children a better future, Eseke can now continue her journey in a new vehicle, marking a significant reward for her years of dedication to her family.
