The hit superhero spinoff series ‘Gen V’ has claimed the number one spot on Prime Video’s chart in Nigeria, dominating the country’s streaming rankings this week.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the series, set in the universe of The Boys, follows a fierce battle between humans and “supes” that spills into Godolkin University, a school for young superheroes grappling with morality, power, and survival.
Coming in second place is ‘Play Dirty’, a gripping crime heist drama that continues to attract strong viewer engagement, while ‘Thicker Than Water’, a supernatural thriller about a journalist’s search for her missing sister amid ritual killings, ranked third.
The romantic drama ‘Our Fault’ took fourth place, while ‘No Time to Die’, the James Bond blockbuster, settled in fifth position.

Other entries on the top ten list include ‘A Working Man’ (6th), ‘Hunting Jessica Brook’ (7th), and ‘Helda’ (8th).
In ninth place is ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’, an action-packed series about a man’s descent into the shadows of CIA black operations, torn between duty and conscience.
Rounding off the top ten is ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’, a Nigerian comedy-drama about a woman navigating professional rivalry and personal chaos with humor and heart.
Prime Video’s growing library of local and international titles continues to captivate Nigerian audiences, reflecting the nation’s expanding appetite for diverse genres from action and fantasy to comedy and thrillers.
