Mr. Dominic Okafor, representing Aguata Federal Constituency, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,and the electorate for the peaceful and well-coordinated conduct of the Anambra Governorship election.
Okafor, who voted at Polling Unit 004, Umuechefu Hall, Igboukwu, in Aguata Local Government Area, described the exercise as “well-organised, peaceful, and seamless.”
Speaking with journalists shortly after casting his vote, he applauded the punctuality of INEC officials and the efficiency of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System .

“I must commend the INEC Chairman and his team. The officials arrived on time, the BVAS is functioning properly, and the process has been seamless so far. Voters are conducting themselves peacefully, and participation is impressive,” he said.
He urged eligible voters across the state to come out en masse to exercise their civic rights and ensure their votes count.
Also speaking, Mr. Shedrack Azubuike, Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, praised INEC for organising a peaceful and transparent election.
After casting his vote at Umunze Ward III, Azubuike commended the professionalism of INEC officials and their efficient handling of materials and logistics.
He also lauded residents for turning out in large numbers, urging them to continue to participate actively in elections to strengthen democracy in the state.
