Nigerian content creator and entertainer Peller has announced that only 100 invited guests will be permitted to attend his white wedding with Jarvis on August 8, following reports of phone thefts during their traditional wedding ceremony.
The couple held their traditional wedding on Saturday, August 1, drawing a large gathering of celebrities, influencers, content creators and fans. Videos and photographs from the ceremony subsequently circulated widely on social media.
However, the celebration was followed by reports of stolen mobile phones, with Peller saying he received several calls from guests who claimed their devices had been snatched outside the venue. “I just dey get different calls about people’s phones being snatched outside,” Peller wrote in an Instagram post.
The reports prompted the content creator to introduce stricter measures for the couple’s forthcoming white wedding.
According to Peller, the August 8 ceremony will be an invitation-only event, with attendance capped at 100 guests.
“August 8th is the day we will be joined together as one, which is the white wedding. 100 guests only pls if I did not send u an invitation pls do not come,” he said.

Peller also warned against people gathering outside the venue, specifically addressing touts, commonly referred to as agberos, whom he accused of being involved in the reported thefts.
“Agbero pls don’t come and stay outside the place. They will pack any agbero wey dey see for outside and take u to where u don’t know because u guys thief many phones at my wedding,” he added.
He further disclosed that security personnel would be deployed around the venue and would remove anyone found loitering in the area.
The announcement marks a significant change from the couple’s traditional wedding, which attracted a much larger crowd and generated considerable attention online.
Peller’s decision to limit attendance appears aimed at preventing a repeat of the security concerns reported after the traditional ceremony and ensuring tighter control over access to the white wedding.
The reported thefts, however, remain allegations made by Peller and guests who contacted him. No independent confirmation or official police statement on the alleged incidents was included in his announcement.
