Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator Carter Efe has claimed that the widely publicized wedding ceremony between TikTok personalities Peller and Jarvis was staged as part of a content creation strategy rather than a genuine marriage ceremony.
Carter Efe made the claim during a livestream while reacting to discussions surrounding the event, which attracted significant attention and reactions across social media platforms.
According to the content creator, he was intentionally not invited to the ceremony because he believed the event was organized primarily for entertainment purposes.
“They do content, they say na wedding. Yes, na content now. You no know? No be real marriage. Na why dem no invite me,” Carter Efe said.
He further alleged that the organizers excluded him because the ceremony was designed to generate online engagement rather than serve as a traditional wedding celebration.

The conversation later shifted to speculation about whether the couple could announce a pregnancy in the future, with one of the livestream participants suggesting that such an announcement could also become part of their content strategy.
“In the next nine months, we go start to dey hear say Jarvis don get belle. So, that one too na content. It’s just content. The belle too, na just content,” the co-host said.
Carter Efe, however, cautioned against making claims about Jarvis’ pregnancy and distanced himself from the speculation. “But leave that woman belle, o,” he said.
The co-host later withdrew the comment, saying, “Okay, na true. Make we no dey talk, allegedly, allegedly. Thank God say I remember. Ah, allegedly. Thank God.”
Neither Peller nor Jarvis had publicly responded to Carter Efe’s claims about the wedding ceremony at the time of filing this report.
