A former member of the House of Representatives, Robinson Uwak has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s N27.5 trillion budget, describing it as “unprecedented” and expressing optimism that it will stimulate job creation and economic growth.

Uwak extended congratulations to Tinubu and his team for the successful presentation of the 2024 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly.

Titled “A Budget of Renewed Hope,” the budget prioritizes security, the economy, education, and poverty alleviation. Uwak emphasized the positive impact of the budget on the lives of Nigerians, anticipating a boost in economic activities.

Uwak outlined the expected benefits, noting that increased spending on security and defense would enable farmers to return to their fields, enhancing food production. He also highlighted the role of human capital expenditure in strengthening various areas of national development.

Expressing confidence in the forthcoming surge of activities in infrastructure and the economy, Uwak commended the National Assembly for promptly addressing the budget. He underscored the importance of effective implementation to ensure value for money, measurable growth, and the overall well-being of Nigerians.

The former lawmaker acknowledged the swift action by the National Assembly, indicating a hopeful prospect for the early passage and implementation of the budget.
