In a heartfelt gesture of empathy and support, the wife of the Nigerian President, Oluremi Tinubu, visited the family of the late former Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Saturday, December 30.
This compassionate visit aimed to offer condolences and solidarity to the bereaved family during their time of grief.
Arriving at the Jerico residence of Akeredolu around 12:45 pm, Mrs. Tinubu was accompanied by notable dignitaries, including the deputy governor of Oyo state, Bayo Lawal, Oyo state Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, and Commissioners for Special Duties, Alhaja Faosat Sanni, among others. The solemn occasion witnessed the convergence of respected personalities to express their shared sorrow and honor the memory of the late governor.
Akeredolu’s wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, and other members of the family warmly received the First Lady, acknowledging the significance of her presence during this challenging period. The visit unfolded at Akeredolu’s Ibadan residence, where Mrs. Tinubu conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.
