On Wednesday, the Nigerian Television Authority,NTA, declared that it would broadcast every match of the 52 African Cup of Nations, which will take place in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
The biggest TV network in Africa announced this on its X handle following the signing of an MOU with Afro Sports.
“NTA signs Memorandum of Understanding with Afro Sports for transmission of 52 Africa Cup of Nations matches in Cote D’ivoire,” the tweet reads.

The parent company of DStv, Multichoice, had earlier announced last Wednesday that it would not be airing the upcoming African Cup of Nations competition on its platform.
It said the satellite failed to secure the broadcasting rights to broadcast the continent’s biggest footballing event on its SuperSport channels.
