On January 9, a Federal High Court in Abuja ruled that Olu Agunloye, a former minister of power and steel, should be placed under remand at Kuje Correctional Service.
Agunloye was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, with fraud related to the Mambilla Power Project.
Following his appearance before the federal high court in Abuja, Agunloye entered a not guilty plea to the accusations made against him.
The minister was placed under remand at the Kuje Correctional Facility until his bail was approved, per the order of Judge Donatus Okorowu.
