Isaac Oyedepo, the son of Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, shared his experience of overcoming severe health challenges while in the United States of America.
Mr. Isaac revealed this in a recent crusade in Ghana, saying that during his time as a pastor, he battled diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity, enduring multiple heart attacks along the way. On the healing mantle, the man of God said the ugly experience boosted his knowledge of healing and other aspects of pastoral work.
He said, “I have passed through some things that I won’t tell you, they’re in the books; you’ll read them. So, when you pass through challenges, rejoice.
“Particularly, there’s a healing mantle you may never be able to carry. Trace people, just watch, just do your trace, this man is carrying and asks the story.

“Let me tell you, I’m not saying you can’t carry the healing mantle without being sick before but there’s a kind of compassion that in our human nature, we ordinarily cannot have except helped by the Holy Ghost.
“I’ve been to the doctor, they said, ‘how did you survive? You’re a candidate for several heart attacks’. I said, “I know”. I knew one night I was virtually going to the bathroom in New York. Three reports, diabetes, high blood pressure and very obese.
“I used to pray for the sick before, they get healed but after I passed through that thing, the word of knowledge just went like boom”.
Issac Oyedepo, appointed as the Youth Pastor of the Youth Alive Fellowship, YAF, the youth wing of the Living Faith Church, unveiled his ministry on November 28.
His ministry, the Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministry, has successfully held several crusades both within and outside Nigeria.
